Le PAL is a truly unique amusement park; it is also one of France's most popular parks. What makes it so unusual is that it has brought together more than 25 spectacular amusements for the whole family, more than 500 animals from 5 different continents (which enjoy semi-freedom in a reconstructed natural environment) and 3 unforgettable animal shows, all in an amazing 35 hectare natural setting in Auvergne, one of France's loveliest regions.
Le PAL is an amusement and animal park with two types of activity: one is an amusement park for people of all ages (Mine Train, Sun Disc, Dynamik 3D cinema, Canadian River, the Le Pal Stud Farm, Desert Squadron etc.), and the other is a zoological garden (Asian elephants, giraffes, lions, tigers, hippopotamuses, chimpanzees, gibbons, bears, wolves, African hunting dogs, ostriches etc.) and several animal shows (otters, birds of prey and parrots), as well as 8 animal feeding events. Le PAL is in Dompierre-sur-Besbre, Allier, France, and was set up in 1973.
